Garden
Cottage has recently been renovated to a very high standard. It
is a charming property, situated by an old fashioned kitchen garden.
It is a detached stone cottage set in a secluded spot, overlooking
an enclosed garden on the one side and lovely woodlands on the
other.
In
summer, guests are welcome to help themselves to the organic vegetables
and fruit. There is also a large lawn area which is ideal for
badminton and sunbathing!
The cottage is ideal for couples, but can sleep up to 4 adults
and 2 children comfortably. There is a double bedroom which has
a pretty French upholstered bed; also a twin bedroom has two 2'6"
x 6'6" single beds, ideal for children or long thin people!
The
small bathroom has a lovely cast iron bath, loo and washbasin;
downstairs there's another twin bedroom with a bathroom next to
it.
The downstairs bathroom has an electric shower, shaving point
and bath.
The cottage has a small galley type kitchen with all mod cons,
including dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, cooker, electric
whisk, kettle, toaster & fridge freezer.
The
large sitting room with its original terracotta tiled floor is
furnished in pretty cottage style and has a wood burner with logs
supplied free of charge. Rugs and comfortable sofas and armchairs
make it an ideal room for relaxation.
An oak table at one end serves as the dining table. There is a
colour TV, video, hi-fi and some books, magazines and games on
hand as well.
• A cot and high chair are provided
at no extra charge.
• Dogs are also welcome so long
as they are kept on a lead.
• Price includes linen, central
heating, logs for the wood burner, and electricity.
• Kitchen towels etc will be
provided.
• Short 3 night lets in winter
start at £175. A Local Produce Hamper, with provisions for
a full English breakfast for the duration of your stay is available
for £25.
• Home made meals are available.
• The house is available as
of 4 pm on the Friday and we ask guests to vacate by 10 am on
the morning of departure.
• A picnic table is provided.
Guests may make full use of the kitchen garden and lawn areas.
Groceries
and ready-made meals can be supplied on arrival
from our very own Farm Shop.
A
Local Produce Hamper, with provisions for a full
Welsh breakfast for the duration of your stay is available for
£25 per couple. Applies to weekend or short breaks only.
