GO KARTING

Book prior to arrival via our online booking system. If not pre-booked, please ring us on the day to check availability.


SENIORS AND JUNIORS

Our karting track is divided into a Junior (must be 8-13 years) and Senior circuit (must be 14 years+). Must pre-book.

Drivers are required to watch a safety induction to ensure everyone is up to speed with the rules and safety requirements of the track. You will then be kitted out with protective overalls, helmet, balaclavas and gloves. However, please ensure you have appropriate footwear (no flip flops or sandals!).


TWIN SEATER GO KARTS

Disabled customers and younger children (aged 3 and up) can enjoy the thrill of karting on our junior circuit in one of our double-seated karts driven by an accompanying adult (aged 18 or over).


GRAND PRIX

We can accommodate Grand Prix and Endurance Races with medals on the Senior Kart Circuit (minimum of 16 per group). However, all Grand Prix and Endurance Races must be booked in advance. Grand Prix and Endurance Races can be booked in the evening (after 5pm) on our fully lit karting track. We can also offer the track for a Grand Prix at 09:30am, if you would prefer an earlier start

At quieter times of the year, please ring to discuss.

Although we provide overall’s, on very wet days, it’s advisable to bring a spare change of clothes just in case!

November - March the go-karting is open 9:30-5:00 with the last session at 4:30

April - October the go-karting is open 9:30-6:00 with the last session 5:30

Juniors 120CC (must be 8 years +) – £15 for 10 Minutes

Seniors 200CC (must be 14 years +) – £15 for 10 Minutes

Twin Seater (must be : 1 adult 18yrs+ driving and 1 child 3yrs+ passenger) – £20 for 10 Minutes

Drivers take to the track for 10 minutes and must pre-book.

Is there a weight or height restriction?

There is no weight restriction, but there is a height restriction- the marshal’s will check that you are tall enough upon arrival as it is to do with the length of your legs, to ensure that you can reach the pedals correctly.

How fast do they go?

The senior go-karts travel at around 34 mph, and the juniors travel at around 22mph.

Do I need to bring anything?

You will need to bring an old pair of closed toe shoes, as we do not allow open toed shoes on the go karts, and a hairband for people for long hair. You will be provided with overalls to protect your clothes and a helmet.

How will I know what to do?

At the beginning of the race, the marshal will give safety instructions on how to operate the go kart safely.

Is there anywhere I can leave my personal belongings?

Lockers are NOT provided at Glasfryn Parc, so customers are advised not to bring items of high value when visiting. It is advised to leave belongings in your car when going on the go karts. Glasfryn Parc accepts no responsibility for items left unattended anywhere on the parc.
