Double – adult and child 3yrs+ – £10.00

Will the activity be supervised?
No, this activity is not supervised but there will be staff on hand to help with any issues. Children will need to be supervised by an adult.
Will i need a wetsuit/ buoyancy aid?
Buoyancy aids will be given to you before the activities and are compulsory for all water-based activities.
With paddle boarding a wetsuit is advisable as it can be a challenge to start with so you may fall in.
With kayaking, there are buoyancy holes in the seat, so your bottom can get slightly damp. We would advise to wear swim shorts or something similar. Apart from that they are very stable, so it is unlikely you will fall in (Unless you want to get wet!)
You can bring your own wetsuit or rent from us here for only £2.50.
Will you teach me how to do it?
There will be some basic instruction given at the beginning of the lesson but the staffs are not trained instructors for SUP or kayaking, but will help when they can. However, both are fairly simple activities to get the hang of and practice makes perfect!
Can I book for large groups?
Yes you can! Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or give us a call on 01766 810000 and we will try and tailor to suit your needs. Smaller groups can just turn up and go for a paddle!
How long do I get?
A paddleboarding or kayaking session lasts for half an hour, starting as soon as you hit the water.
What is kayaking?
Kayaking is a recreational sport in which participants use specialized boats called kayaks. A kayak is a boat where the paddler faces forward, legs in front, using a double-bladed paddle.
What is stand-up paddleboarding (SUP)?
SUP uses a surf style board and a long paddle to push the board through the water. It has recently become very popular as it is a brilliant way to keep fit and keep those core muscles strong while being very relaxing. Stand up paddling can be done in a variety of forms such as on flat water protected lakes to easy beach paddling, to open water paddling, and is like a cross between canoeing and surfing.
Is there anywhere I can leave my personal belongings?
Lockers are NOT provided at Glasfryn Parc, so customers are advised not to bring items of high value when visiting. With our water activities, you can leave belongings in the changing rooms, but Glasfryn Parc accepts no responsibility for items left unattended anywhere on the parc.
Do you cater for disabilities?
At Glasfryn we try to cater for everybody, so if you have a disability and would like to get more information on what we can offer please give us a call on 01766810000 or just let the staff know on the day.
