LIFE’S BETTER WHEN YOU’RE WETTER!
Glasfryn Wakeparc is the perfect venue to try your hand at wakeboarding, towed by an overhead cable.
Our friendly and professional staff offer one to one tuition on the land and in the water, so no matter if you’ve never set foot on a wakeboard before or if you want to nail that new trick, you know you’re in safe hands.
We have two lakes with three System 2.0 cables, one of them being a special lake for beginners. On our more advanced lakes we have lots of obstacles to choose from, including the Leviathan, Flat Bar, Mystic Big Air kicker, Industry Transfer Box, Industry Slug Rail and two O’Shea wall rides for those a little more experienced.
Wakeboarding is suitable for those 8 years and older.
We have changing rooms and shower facilities on site and even a little cabin shop with some wakeboarding gear for sale!
All wakeboarding equipment and buoyancy aid is provided; all you need to bring with you is a towel!
Riders need to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the start time in order to give them time to get kitted up.

Who can go wakeboarding?
Wakeboarding is a great sport for almost everyone. The minimum age for participants at the Glasfryn Wakeparc is 8yrs and you must be a competent swimmer.
Does it matter that I have never been on a wakeboard before and have no equipment?
Absolutely not. Wakeboarding behind the Sesitec System 2.0 is ideal for absolute beginners as well as the more experienced rider. Learners will find it easier to get on their feet than being towed behind a boat ….and if you wipe out, you don’t have to wait for the boat to turn round and give you the rope to start again. Wetsuit, wakeboard, vest and helmet hire are all included and full changing facilities with showers…….just don’t forget to bring a towel.
Is cable wakeboarding a safe sport?
Your safety is our priority and we will do everything possible to make sure that you are relaxed and comfortable and have a great time. All users will wear a wetsuit, buoyancy aid and helmet. There is also a safety boat on the lake, as well as first aid trained staff.
Full instruction from our BWSF qualified and experienced wakeboarding instructors is given throughout each session, making you feel at ease and gradually building your confidence in a non-intimidating and relaxed atmosphere.
How long do the sessions last?
Each session lasts for 15 minutes and is fully instructed. Riders need to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the start time in order to give them time to get kitted up.
How much does it cost?
£20 per person for a 15 minute session. First session of the day starts at 9.30am. This includes hire of equipment (wetsuit, buoyancy aid, helmet, board) and a hot shower (please bring your own towel). The price is the same regardless of whether a customer brings their own equipment or not.
Do I need to book?
Booking is recommended to avoid disappointment but you can just rock up and ride (depending on availability)…. or if you’d like to just go along to watch and enjoy the beautiful scenery then feel free to come along.
To book your session, please call 01766 810202 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
I’m an experienced rider….do you have any jumps and obstacles?
There are several obstacles, including the Mystic Flat bar rail and Big Air kicker, Glasfryn kicker, the Leviathan, and the O’Shea Wall Rides.
Is there anywhere I can leave my personal belongings?
Lockers are NOT provided at Glasfryn Parc, so customers are advised not to bring items of high value when visiting. With our water activities, you can leave belongings in the changing rooms, but Glasfryn Parc accepts no responsibility for items left unattended anywhere on the parc.
Do you cater for disabilities?
At Glasfryn we try to cater for everybody, so if you have a disability and would like to get more information on what we can offer please give us a call on 01766810000 or just let the staff know on the day.
