SPRING WAKEBOARD OPEN

On
the 14th April 2012, our fourth Wakeboarding event is being held
at Glasfryn Parc.
The event will include three System 2.0's, two wall rides and
of course the Relentless Leviathan and a kicker....and
why not stay for the on-site party afterwards and rock to Repulsive
Rapture

Get Noticed – It’s confirmed that we are the official
Wakestock Pool Gap Sponsors and we will be holding the Pool Gap
Qualifiers. Our spies will be on the lookout for talented riders
at the Spring Open!
Entry is £30.00
which includes riding all day until the competition. Payment is
required prior to the event (£25 for juniors).
The six Wake Divisions are:
Juniors: under 16
Rookies: Any ability up to intermediate standard.
Intermediates: Up to and including performing
360's off the kicker and able to hit the top rail of fun box.
Open Men: Able to perform 360s or more off the
kicker; hit the top rail of fun box; wall ride; aerial tricks
and inverts.
Open Ladies: Performing tricks such as grabs
and 180's off the kicker; able to go over the fun box.
Wakeskate.
The day event will
be rounded off with prize giving and onsite party with live music
acts. Entry and parking for spectators is free of charge
all day and evening.
The Spring Wakeboard Open is a grassroots event which is aimed
at all standards of riding. Even if you have only just learnt
to ride the Spring Wakeboard Open is for you, it is all about
getting riders together and helping each other progress, learn
new tricks and most importantly have fun and meet like minded
people.
The licensed bar will be open till
late and great locally produced food will be available all day
and evening.
Camping is available. There
are toilets and hot and cold showers on the camping field and
it costs just £5.00 per person per night. Email info@glasfryn.co.uk

And for those of you with any energy left, for
just £40.00 per person, you can enjoy wakeboarding at Glasfryn
Wakeparc all day on the Sunday. (You must pre-book
and pre-pay by 6pm the previous day. Glasfryn Wakeparc will pre-allocate
your guaranteed three time slots throughout the day.)
